I don't think that was a reasonable assumption at all Honey.

It was clear it would cause disruption and economic harm in the short term. But we are assured of great times to come and the dignity of freedom.

I still await any evidence for the former. The latter is unrefutable theoretically, but freedom can of course lead to worse outcomes because it is a means rather than an end.
