I'm not particularly "left wing" and appreciate the benefits of a responsible capitalist system, but really when Govs allow rail monopolies to put £800 million the way of shareholders while cutting the pay of rail workers they deserve every strike that is coming.

Check the media for untramelled anti-union bias as well.

People say that the MSM/BBC is "left wing" but by thus they mean "woke". They are not left wing at all.

Very little that is remains, apart from the unions and divine Mike Lynch.

Society needs balance and to treat workers with respect on a right or left wing model.

Interesting views Wyot.

However I would not be surprised if the railways were to be automated by 2030. Japan trains are driverless to cut down on costs. There are still issues but it seems to be rare unlike the Network Rail.

These rail companies will price themselves out and people will look for other jobs and working from home is the new normal. If people can't afford staycations they will camp in the wild or just have days out througout the year.

Yes, I know I how to make toilet paper in the woods Wyot.
