I'm known for being seriously ANTI-Police but that's only anti the cops (and their bosses) not doing the right thing. In this case it seemed to me clear from the start (as in many of the arguments against Cressida Dick) that the police got it wrong in their behaviour towards this officer who clearly was not guilty of anything serious. Rather like Boris Johnson losing his job for trivial, silly, media hyped reasons (instead of for far worse offences). I'm on Williams' side. You?
