A series of debates between the two main candidates in the tory leadership campaign.

A waste of time, Truss is way ahead in the polls amongst those blue rinser tory members, and repeating the same questions over and over again won't change their minds. Many of them wont vote for Sunak because of his ethnicity, and repeating the same show over and over again won't change that. Cut the whole thing short and appont Truss as pm, then announce a general election, for which there is nothing to celebrate, no matter who wins.

Good question Honey. People who think ethnicity first are normally the racists.

Rishi is so out off touch with the rest the public he is married to a billionaire and watching him use a bank card for the first time is just embarrassing. Rishi also wants to get rid off cash so then he will in be control of all our money.

His ethnicity will be one reason why some tory members won't vote for Richi. I'm just quoting Rory Stewart on the rest is politics podcast. Hw was a tory mp, and he knows these people better than we do. Much of the older generations do have racist views, and would be queasy about electing an Asian man as pm.

If Robbie gets news or advice from Rory Stewart then Robbie is barmy.

Southampton is a very diverse city and is popular with foreign tourists. I don't live that from Southampton.

The Tory government is very diverse if they got more MPs than Labour, then who are the racists? Racists are a very minority demographic in any country.

If you want to see black racists then visit some hoods or some small towns in California.

Yes, but he is an asian, and in the view of many older tory members he is a word beginning with P. Many of the older generation did fight racism, but not many of them become tory members. Face facts, a lot of tory members are racists, that is why they would rather vote for a muppet like Liz Truss, who can't pinpoint Russia on a map, then vote for an asian.
