Gordon Brown goes up in my estimation 16 Years, 8 Months ago  
I agree with him; Thatcher was a tremendous conviction politician although I disagreed with 90% of her policies (especially social ones).

Blair said the same but never dared invite her to No10.

The fact that Brown did within months of getting there says a lot to me.

I think I might get to like the man. And admire him.

Brown knows that many disatisfied Tories are looking back to the Thatcher years with nostalgia while despairing of Cameron, so he puts himself on display with Mrs Thatcher as though to say .. I admire her too, so vote for me.

I doubt Mrs Thatcher will vote Labour, but I imagine she also despairs of Cameron.
