Yes, JK. I should have had a correct score bet!

I was 8 when Derby won their first League Championship under the great Cloughie, so I'm grateful to have been just old enough to have fond memories of those glory years.

He was the greatest football manager of all time in my book, though I am obviously biased.

Would even the great man have been able to take on a small club like Derby in this day and age and achieve the same? Probably not, though I think he would still have turned us into a top six club.

Pardon me m'lud! It wasn't Anthony whom predicted the score spot on...it was me...well nearly. I predicted Arsenal would beat Dearby 5-1... I was generous enough to give Derby one goal so as not to offend Anthony. Otherwise I would have been spot on!! Ahem...check the sublime football thread. I thankyou.

I'm still claiming the prediction, Chrissy! You said 5-1, and I suggested the 1 was wrong.

Or we could agree to claim the correct score prediction as a joint effort;). I've made a fair amount of money betting on Derby defeats over the years though not this time. Call me disloyal if you like folks, I'd call myself a realist.

I'm rooting for the Gunners to win the title. I have a lifelong hatred of Man Utd, and don't much care for Chelsea's treatment of Mourinho and the silly money they have going for them. Apart from which, Arsenal always attempt to play the beautiful game in the right way.

You claimed the ONE was wrong. Think about it. I claimed the five was right. I'm not satisified with that at all. I think Jonathan should have given credit to me. But he wont. I'll stamp my feet about this. Bloody Derby!!!

So if I'd have predicted 3-1 you'd still have claimed a victory...no justice in that my friend...you predicted the one goal...I predictd the five...no sorry...you didnt predict the one goal at all, i claimed Derby might score one, I preDicted Arsenal would score 5...YES 5....... and added on a goal for Derby...hoe does that make you the accurate forecaster?

Fair enough, JK. You're the boss!

Err... just for the record, Chrissy, if you'd said 3-1, I'd have replied saying 5-0 was more likely

Yes, Chrissy, I enjoyed our little altercation there.

I'll predict a 1-1 draw for Derby against Bolton at the weekend, and a 3-2 win for Arsenal against the Hammers. Not that I ever put my money where my mouth is with correct score predictions. Too risky.
