A very decent man. Losing his mother will be an awful blow to him. At least I had the joy of 91 years of a life with a fully aware and mentally together Mum. His Mother had Alzheimers for ten years so he really lost her when she was 77.
My Mum dreaded losing her marbles and we both constantly cheered the fact that she didn't.
I am very fond of Cliff, one of the nicest men you could ever hope to meet, especially when you knew him privately.
This is the first I have heard of it too, Cliff was VERY close to his mum as he is to his sisters and their families too!
I would like to second what a lovely man he is as he sent my wife a get well message after she was diagnosed with cancer and that did more to lift her spirits than ANY medical treatment could have done!!!!
If I could choose anyone in the world to perform one of my songs it would be Cliff!
