Moira Lister RIP 16 Years, 6 Months ago
Was always one of my favourites in the Ealing movies - beautiful and glamorous, has died aged 84.

Another link with the past gone:(
Great actress, she was at her best alongside Margaret Rutherford and Norman wisdom in 'Trouble in Store' back in '53.Shows how far back she goes, and the calibre of star she was working with.
RIP

As a matter of interest my Mum also had a similar story about being taken on a date by Neville Heath (check the Times obit and Google him)

I asked my brother if he remembered the story from our Mum and he replied... (Ron Belchier is an old BBC friend)...

God, of course I do! What's more, she danced with him at the Bluebird Club
near Angmering (which is next door to where Ron Belchier lives!) and he
committed his last murder a few hours afterwards!

Oh no! Theres just Bill Kerr left out of the Hancock's Half Hours of the 1950s (unless Andree Melly is still alive?). Moira played the original girlfriend of Tony's in the first series.
