Glitter 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I have a gut feeling he will blow his chances of getting out again.

He seems to be institutionalized like a lot of long term prisoners, they get use to all rules and regs and no doubt Glitter has made friends. The irony is, a lot prisoners who have done years inside will be imprisoned in the outside world. I can't imagine Glitter popping in to a supermarket minded his business without being harassed, he will need a lot of private security at his own expenses.

When JK got released I bet he got a lot of abuse from the public. It took a while for the press and the media to cool down and he convictions were quashed they went silent, like his trail again a few years ago. When it collapsed it was not a good story.

I still remember the front page headline about JK receiving a battering in the showers and needed hospital treatment.

The convictions weren't quashed GM, but later allegations were dropped due there being little chance of getting a fair trial. I think he didn't get as much abuse if any abuse because he had a lower profile than Glitter, and also there was a sense that he was stictched up to some extent by Max Clifford.

Not quite Robbie; I was acquitted many times and declared Not Guilty - retrials were banned.

Gary Glitter's mansion will only go up in value. I doubt he will ever get out. Then again Vanessa George got out after a decade inside. However it costs the taxpayers a fortune to look after her and security.

However one of GG children will be very wealthy if they inherit the house and sell it off. London prices are both a rip off and a safety net.

I do the take newspapers comments by HMP Verne prisoners with a pinch of salt.

The prisons are overcrowded and many of them are now closed. It's been a long time since new prisons have been built.

I bet GG is one of many prisoners from the Verne to be paroled and out soon. The media picked GG due to his profile. however, I bet he do what can to stay inside. I bet he loves the notoriety ad publicity. It keeps him relevant.

No big record company will put his music back in print commercially. The smaller ones will have to licence it from Sony at a hefty fee, it won't be viable for them.

Interesting article. GG could be showing no emotions because he either playing the system, like I said he feels safer inside or he is institutionalized. A lot of old prisoners get used to the rules and regs. Also a lot nonce's lack remorse because they see nothing wrong with their perverted attraction.

The problem with suing someone is that the lawyers only get richer. GG's mansion is either a write off, or a present to someone.

It will be interesting to read how much Sony paid for his catalogue, no doubt the master tapes are decaying.

The Sun are salty, he hasn't committed anything. He may get some royalties from some Asian radio networks; but it will be very little. Sony own his back catalogue.

His last last 2 albums, those master tapes are with private collectors. I did read on a music site they might be with the old fan club secretary.

Rock n Roll Part 2 was used in sports arenas well after he nicked in Cambodia.

They only stopped playing it after he was arrested by Operation yewtree.

GG knows he is safer in the prison, if he was Joe Public he would of been out and lived his life like normal (scary thought).

Don't be fooled by the media. The silent majority still enjoy Gary Glitter's . music. Even before he was accused of crimes, people tried to play down his talent, success and how loved he was.

The proof is in the pudding. Just like Sir Jimmy, Sir Rolf & Phillip Schofield, Glitter has a vast fan following world-wide. Recently on eBay a copy of his now deleted best selling autobiography, Leader, sold for £200. And that's just one glacier cherry on the top of a very large cake with plenty of icing!

I always assumed he had been some sort of novelty act; but admittedly only recall that "leader of the pack" song...

Always respect true victims of abuse. Include millions of true victims of Fake Media abuse.

Now name one, just one, Sex Object HOT Pop/Rocker since Sinatra in plain-sight. NOT chased, grabbed, groped, groomed, laid by swarms of underage fans 'Adultophiles'. Many now grinning grannies recall their aMusing 'Trophy Sex' with adult stars.

Misquote Sex Object HOT Rocker Jagger, "It's only Rockin' Sex but we all like it."

I wish I kept my copy of his book. His ego and arrogance showed, his childhood was not pleasant. When he did a runner to London as youngster I bet old poofters took advantage of him. £200 for an autobiography that read like a comic in some parts, sounds a good investment in hindsight.

I BET there is a millions in the UK that Glitter in their playlists and play his music, whilst having a work out. People won't admit to it.

I am baffled that he threw everything he had down the drain. I have a theory he wanted to be caught, most people get new devices.
