I thought we got rid of old diseases and infections. Now they are back even scabies.

When I went to South Africa for holidays (will never go again). I saw a lot of people with open spores and scabies in the market towns. The sight of the poor buggers with scabies made me itch.

The media and government need to find some big bollocks, to admit a lot these diseases have come back due illegal immigrants and poverty. We had a bed bug crisis recently.

Also dating apps are popular with Gen Z so having a lot of casual sex is also factor to get scabies etc.

I wonder of the trend washing bedding at at 20-30c is another one. My mother washed all our socks, undies and bedding and towels at the highest temperature that the washing machine allowed.

Your mother was correct. It needs boiling and sod the environment.
There is a good reason why our health improved once we had better hygiene and less overcrowding.
