I am old enough to remember American Gladiators with all the fanfare, mullets and Sybil Danning hair styles. However it only lasted a 7 years or so, the reboot with Hulk Hogan was a flop.

If I remember didn't Sky or Challenge try to give it a comeback that was axed and forgotten after a season or 2?

Bradley Walsh does not have a personality both off and on screen, he is a arrogant jackass off TV.

Gladiators is not going woke DM, but it will be another flop. No doubt have a scandal or 2.

I was in the pub watching Gladiators yesterday. It was awful,more camp than Christmas but it did unintentionally made me chuckle. Which shocked a lot of the regulars and myself.

I have never heard of Mark Clattenburg prior last night. Until someone yelled "It's dat useless prick of a fucking ref" He ranted about about some football game Clattenburg, fucked up years ago.

I saw nothing woke about it. Cheerleaders have been tamed or have phased out the skimpy gear for a long time. They are nearly fully covered depending on the teams Even NBA cheerleaders some are male.

Why do I look forward watching Gladiators and chuckle along with it?

My only complaints is the Gauntlet is easy along the Wall. Probably the BBC are scared of lawsuits, however everything in life is a risk.

Why producers chose Viper to be the new Wolf is a bad choice...Legend should of that role. I know it's only entertainment and scripted like exhibition boxing and pro wrestling. Hearing the old ladies swearing at the pub TV when Legend is on is hilarious.

If BBC licenced a hoodie of Gladiators, I will be tempted to get one.
