I am struck by parallels with Putin: both old men nearer the end of their lives waging war that is fuelled by an historic sense of destiny; and doing so against the wishes of many around them, and most of their populations.

I agree with you WT about the complex and provocative background to Ukraine provoked by the West.

I disagree on the leap to deciding Oct 7th was an inside job. It is far more likely that arrogance, complaisance and incompetence explain ignoring warnings from female IDF border guards.

I love it - a sceptic is now someone who does not accept conspiracy theories on face value. If so, yes I am a sceptic WT.

There is a word for someone who buys any old shit they see online...but I am too polite to use it!
