We all know how governments around the world undertake dirty operations at the expense of their masses to advance their propaganda and the Israeli government should not be above suspicion. All told, it is hard to fathom the notion that Mossad got beat by amateurs.

Was Israel really caught off-guard in the wake of the 10/7 Hamas attacks or was this a false-flag operation (or an inside job) by Mossad to create a pretext for the annexation of Gaza?
