TOPIC: RIP Janis Schacht
#240955
RIP Janis Schacht 3 Months ago
My dear friend from the 1960s passed away last month - a surprise, out of the blue which is sadly often the case at our age. Janis first worked for me when we took on Connie de Nave as publicist in America and remained a friend for the rest of her life. A good writer and excellent PR she adored the Hollies and the Ramones and was also close to Seymour Stein.

She ran this site during my enforced absence between 2001 and 2005, taking down my posts over the phone and putting them up on the site, checking posts and adding new items - all from New York, every day, every week of every year.

One thing about prison is that you know who your true friends are.

If it was a bit cheaper, I would of ordered a copy. I have to get another vehicle this week.
