A Japaneese influenced dish:P
I do think Duck does go well with sweet and sour type sauces.
Interesting accompaniments, and my sympathies about the beer!!
At least here in Ukraine the booze is cheap, between 20-30p a bottle for quite delicious tasty brews.

I do hate supermarkets big time, but sadly can`t complain at certain thing they stock, I still try and avoid the meat and veg there though to the extent that I don`t know if you can get duck there or not.
A further food point, in the past I have raved about the dried yeast (instant really) you can buy in sachets to make bread these days.
This morning I have gone back to fresh yeast, and I have to say I retract that previous raving.
Fresh yeast wins hands down and gets on with the job, dried packet yeast is actually not that reliable for a good result.
I wouldn`t know about the use of the product in a bread machine as I don`t fancy one at all.
