Actually very well made (Sewell is excellent) and the film is gripping but I felt the same way as when I watched the original interview - I thought Andrew was fine and Maitless was fair. The only negative lies in the inability of anyone - public, critics, lawyers, judges, media - to consider that allegations can be false and that complainants are often after money and are prepared to lie or exaggerate. Whether or not sex happened, who knows? Only two people. Whether or not it was legal, again only the two involved can say. Whether it was consensual - I'm sure if it happened that it was - indeed not only willing but possibly financially beneficial. Times have changed. In decades past, blackmail was a crime and the truth or not of claims did not matter. These days blackmail is done Using the Law to Break the Law. And, of course, the media. Which to us, humanity, seems absolutely fine as long as it's a great story.
