Gene Hackman 3 Weeks, 4 Days ago
Being trendy buying a coffee - my favourite American actor of all time. If he's in a film, it's worth seeing.

I agree, people look down at French Connection 2, I think it's great. Seeing Doyle being ruthless and tough then seeing him being turned in to a caged junkie.

I thought 2 was even better than 1. That scene when he's going Cold Turkey is extraordinary - a lesson in great acting.

I think FC2 is my favourite Hackman film but the one with Will Smith (title forgotten) about the internet is fantastic (and very under rated).

My favourite big screen actor full stop. I recently saw and loved The Conversation (1974).

Very underrated movie, it's the Yankee Blow Up.
