TOPIC: Why oh why isn't Corbyn PM?

Why oh why isn't Corbyn PM? 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Every time he stands up in the Commons, he makes sense. His question about asylum seekers yesterday was 100% right and the answer by Cooper was 100% evasion by traditional typical politicians. The way to stop the "criminal gangs" is to outprice them. Make it cheaper and easier for those seeking asylum or entry into countries to arrive safe and sound for consideration regarding staying. Now I know many will then disagree with my view about what should be done after arrival (some even still back the stupid Rwanda idea) but that has nothing to do with it. The money wasted on such things as that wheeze could have been far better spent on safe, secure facilities for housing before decisions on entry (or not) are made. As usual humanity falls for the evasion excuse. NO. Want to stop deaths? Easy. Simples.

They are coming in regardless. The government have no idea what to do like the Tories didnt.

Ireland is becoming dangerous and give it time another civil war will start. Ireland has pretty much ran out of housing.

I know you're against immigration GM - I'm in favour of fully open borders. If there's not enough housing, let the new arrivals build more homes and create positive social areas. Humanity is expanding and needs to use the vast spaces available on our planet including deserts, seas and plains.

I am not against immigration JK. When I lived and worked in the States as a young man I was an immigrant. When I left Ireland for England, I am an immigrant.

Where does all the free land come from JK to build these homes. A lot of deserts are not suitable, especially with net zero. You need oil and gas to build. Leave the plains alone, they are beautiful for hiking.

I rather have less people in the world and more wildlife. At least nature sorts it self out, people don't.

Where do you plan to build JK?

as you know I'm a huge fan of Magic Grandpa.

I read that 7 Labour MPs have had the whip suspended for some persevered infraction.

This is the fear of such a huge landslide in Labour winning so many seats makes their new MPs dispensable.

It's inevitable that humanity will continue to expand GM and we need to adapt as a species which means utilising the space and creating suitable life places such as in oceans, under deserts, on plains and in forests and tundra. That's the code word. ADAPT.

Corbyn is refreshing because he is willing to talk about the issue rather than posture around it.

This "you gotta sound tough" on immigration is sooooo boring. Whatever one's views on immigration, it is not like Rwanda was ever going to "work".

I fear that if Labour does not address the concerns of the masses directly though, we will see a massive surge towards an odious Farage/Trump like oddity next election...

So you want the world to be nothing but concrete, glass and people? What a depressing place it will become. That means digging more holes, killing more tree's and habitats.

Certainly not GM. That would not be adapting. Indeed it would be the opposite of adapting. Adapting is encouraging more of many things like trees.

Where will they grow if you want more houses and roads?
