The Secret Service agents "guarding " D.Trump (now on "leave") were not wearing earpieces they always wear.

Bizarelly they lifted Trump up immediately after he ducked and exposed him fully to the same shooter they could not possibly have known was neutralised

Odd disinterest in the media about the shooter when school pals straight after said he was a rusted on Republican.

Very little interest in government circles on a proper investigation into an attempt on a former president and current candidates life.

All a bit odd

I have seen the same bits on the Internet about the ear pieces but it is doctored rubbish Hedda.


Check out the picture below from NBC news where - from a different angle to the pic doing the rounds on social media - you can clearly see at least 3 of the 5 agents are wearing ear pieces.

But yes bit strange they seemed to prop him up - but they would have known the gunman was down.

Looks like they are escourting him off the stage. After he did the Fight, Fight, Fight chant.

I'd question whether the agents knew the shooter was dead but they would not have know there wasn't a second shooter.

There's also the bizare photo of one agent grinning like crazy but can react oddly under pressure.

Maybe it was not a lone wolf operation.

So it seems there was a stuff up with local law enforcement setting aside communication devices for them and Secret Service so they were all on the same page so to speak but the SS failed to pick theirs up.

Obviously the SS can go through drills but may never encounter a real life assassination attempt. The Regan shooter was able to get up close and personal.

Will this event become the stuff of legends and endless conspiracy theories like the JFK killing?

Seems the shooter's parents have hired high priced lawyers..guess its just the beginning but I m surprised Trump hasn't torn strip's of the SS who were not on the ball. Remember after grazing Trumps ear the shooter was able to shoot more people while Trump was hauled up as a target. At least he got his shoes back so we'll never know if wears lifts.

My hunch is no. JFK was a far more beguiling figure than Trump and we now live in a world where truth is subjective and millions believe conspiracy theories daily without even realising it.

There was a report a few weeks ago about a doctored photo showing an agent grinning (to bolster the argument that it was all "staged"), whereas he looked sombre in the original photo.

So the relatives of the other victims and the shooter's family have all lowered up.

In light of what seems an almighty cock up by the Secret Service and local lawmen I smell many multi million $$ lawsuits.

Trump may have been advised not to stir the pot.
