Marylebone Weddings 1 Week, 2 Days ago
So many friends in the photos (Peter Brown in the background of almost every celeb wedding). Not me. I hate weddings and don't go to them with few exceptions. I'm not intending even to attend my own funeral.

Without weddings, funerals and Christenings the CofE would perish, with zero assistance from the Invisible man upstairs. Most folk use religion to show off and as an excuse to get sloshed.

You can say that again, I knew staunch Atheists who got married in churches JUST for the photos.

They read the Bible or kept it on the bookcase. These are types who would wear white despite not being virgins. Not forgetting they will pick the most Bible-bashing hymns they can think of.

At the receptions, they will swear like sailors, chat up anything they see; even the groom and leave the room for quickies.

Christenings are a joke they use it as an excuse for a party, especially when they are not God-fearing to start with. Most only know the lightweight scripture they were taught in school assemblies

After the celebration, they will splash out on party food, hire function rooms, get new suits or dresses, and then return home to their Athiest lifestyles after the Christening and party.

Lol Green Man. Indeed. Every time. Makes me laugh locally when I see beer can swigging men stood outside the church at a Christening. And that's just the clergy. lol.

Not seen the beer-swigging clergy. I have seen beer-swigging wedding guests but they were the ones who had shitty mullets or Bob Ross perms. It's funny when you see them smoking or vaping outside the church before the photos.

Most suits people buy for weddings are always cheap or shabby ones. I like to know how women can see the difference in men in suits, most look the same.

Women in dresses are something else though, dresses can show off the bust, legs and curves. The suit only shows how much you have spent.

People who renew their vows are another strange lot.

They have either cheated or want to have another party, you made a promise the first time round in front of family and friends to honour and obey. If the missus is cheating on you, what did you do to her? Then again if you are single it can be tricky meeting someone new.

If you are in a relationship try it on or flirt. I was waiting for my partner in a pub, 2 ladies were winking at me fiddling with their earrings and showing me legs. When my partner walked they stopped.

If the husband is cheating then what have you done to the wife so she no longer wants to submit to you?

I agree it is so vulgar DSC (if I may take the liberty - and welcome to the site - of shortening you). And also lazy; as far superior red wine is freely available during the Eucharist, following a brief walk to the chancel...

In what way?
