There is recently a tendency to rudeness - we don't put those posts up. Good manners cost nothing and since this is one of the oldest and most respected Forums, please be polite even if you disagree with someone.

I quite agree, although I haven't noticed any rudeness myself. I discovered your forum about 6 months ago now and have enjoyed dipping in. I have even mentioned it to a couple of others who like the kind of subjects on music and politics that get discussed.
But just a quick question. Are you the actual moderator yourself, either solely or with others, and what are the benefits of full registration to the forum instead of commenting as an unregistered guest user, which it does seem most choose.
I think this is a terrific little place, and JK is a great moderator allowing all different view points and it is mostly courteous. How dull if we all agreed with one another. Elon Musk could
certainly learn a thing or two here about how to run social media.
Was this about me calling Greenman Mr Judgey-pants? I am not sure if it was deleted or I just got distracted and forgot to post it, but I dont think he would mind?

JK you talk about good manners and all that but have then gone on to show bad manners in this very topic having returned numerous times and ignored the question you were very politely asked in the first response to you, and myself who followed that one up and asked for an answer too. It works both ways you know. Just saying. Thanks a second time.
Sorry Nick or Rich or whichever name you decide to use - at present I am the main moderator as one of my friends based in America has now passed away (she moderated during my stint in Her Majesty's Luxury Estate) and another no longer does it. As for registration - those things are dealt with by others more technologically competent.
Some posters may also have norticed we tend not to put up rambling posts or threads, pointless or ridiculous ones and illiterate ones. Yes over the years I've got less tolerant. Just as the number of posters (as opposed to visitors/readers) has declined.

I welcome new posters and Nick/Rich has posted some interesting stuff. But I'm sorry the rudest thing to do on here is to keep changing name, and some people even do so mid thread.
Newer posters may not know that we have had issues in the past with this and posters assuming regulars names.
I am just a poster and have no more regulation over the site than any other poster, but would politely ask that people stick to one name or inform if they are changing names.

I support Wyot in this.
The forum, as well as chat, music, and bickering, also offers support for the falsely accused and their families, and we cant do that if we dont know who we are speaking to from one minute to the next.

And I'm sure that JK and others respond to messages they find interesting. One can't always expect a response. To demand a response is potty.
I haven't changed name anytime but asked the question upthread because I was considering registering properly with the name I am here so it showed up in red like a proper member, but having read the other thread by JK tonight about this forum getting pointless that was placed in the Tipsheet section I now get an answer via Honey's response to JK because the site is not secure (how did I miss that!) and so placing any personal info is not sensible at this time, so best avoid and play safe instead unregistered. This other JK thread tonight answered my question I put on this one as to why there were so few actual signed up members. Thanks Wyot for at least suggesting I have said something interesting once in a while. That's the idea, and to always be polite and where criticism is made at least make it constructive and not destructive. The "This forum is getting pointless" thread tonight from JK did not feel very engaging as a reach out to new or quite new contributors who are interested for the right reasons in the subjects that concern JK and others here, whether that be music, politics or injustice.
Apologies Rich/Nick - your URL is the same for different names. Must be a co-incidence. The Tipsheet forum was intended to be exclusively for music topics (like your 1974 ones).

Neo-cons Jo.
The more left-tards go mad at Trump, the more I love it.

You seem to have ramped up your unwarranted personal attacks on me from "far left" to "left-tard", completely ignoring JK's posts above about rudeness on the forum. You're making this forum an unpleasant place to visit.

He's dead set against fluoride and the Po9lio vaccine.
Must have never met a polio victim.
I will bet my last Pound coin, the polio vaccines are the not the same as the ones from the past.
Do you want a tissue also?
you need to respect JK's thread requesting users to not insult each other.
There will always be degrees of rudeness - I accept much and delete more. Stupidity also gets deleted. And mean spiritedness. As I get older I get less tolerant.
