I've never had one of these before - I thought they were called CAT Scans. Examining my brain, if they could find it. Lying still for half an hour whilst incredible noises try to pierce the eardrums. It's the final investigation to get details of my dementia. Quite a strange experience.

I've had an MRI a couple of times and they plonked headphones on me and blasted pop music to drown out the sound of the machine. I could still hear it and was surprised at how noisy it was.

Very very slow. Even most insects are faster, more powerful and better equipped. And we should hibernate. Conserving energy, reducing waste and helping the planet to detox annually.
