I don't have any complaints. I think Reeves has set out a fair and proportionate purse and people really have to consider that higher taxation is necessary so there can be real investment in housing, health and public services. The days of boom and crash spending followed by the inevitable harmful cuts is what we've endured for the last 14 years, with no investment in any of the above. And the minimum wage rise is very healthy for most ordinary working people. Yes, it's a very Socialist budget, and yes, it makes one hell of a refreshing change. I will await the responses in my Air Raid shelter.Gulps.

Small shop owners will lose their businesses. No doubt, more empty shop units will become vape shops, barbers, flats, and Costa. All the governments we have had have decimated small businesses.

Even farming will be dead, I guess the government will control our food and what bugs are on the market. Labour is killing farming and the OAPs to build and use existing housing stock for the migrants.

Has there ever been a popular budget GM? What about investment in housing, NHS, and a rise in the minimum wage? Nothing at all to be positive about? It really wasn't that bad. IMHO.

The coalition Budget was not that bad, it was for the working people and they were strict on those who were workshy.

There is not much land to build on apart from farmland that the government are killing off, how many bllions is going to the NHS, Starmer caved in to the unions to win their votes and we are paying for it. He should of told them to do one and hired workers from overseas.

Oh yes the minimum wage, rise it so they can tax you more they will be taking home the same amount each month. Remember when fastfood joints in the States laid off. Companies can do what they like, even shop assistants are doing 2 jobs these days, they are do checkouts and shelf stacking. There is going to be a hike on the weekly shop again.

I hope there is some loophole for the farmers to pass the land to their children, we need farmers.
