TOPIC: Floods in Valencia
#250369
Floods in Valencia 8 Months, 1 Week ago
I was there a few months ago (watch A Victim Bites Back). But it further proves my position on Climate Change - DON'T waste time trying, like that spoon faced Scandinavian bint, to stop, lessen or control climate change - ADAPT to it - work out how to survive such inevitable changes. Build different cities in different places. Anticipate problems. Create alternative ways for power, elewctricity, water, food and the essentials. I admire Musk and his thinking (though much is wrong). Use spaces like seas, oceans, deserts, frozen wastes. Every home should generate its own power whilst still using local and regional sources.
My word for this Century is ADAPT. Yes, some changes in how we behave (remove plastics from the seas; lessen fossil fuels). But anticipate future floods, tsunamis, heat. Plan accordingly.

Both the the Ice Age and Stone Age was caused by Climate Change, it's a natural Earth movements and cycles.

What happened to the Ozone layer, acid rain and the Earth turning in to fireball by the late 90s?

I think both should be done: lessen/control and adapt/plan. The pictures from Spain are terrifying. A year's worth of rain in eight hours is incredible. Utterly devastating for the people living there.

100% Agree. The planet is a grumpy...I can't blame it. We have to adapt. There is no real cure. We can send machines to Mars for god's sake. Adapt...oh and try to stop humans from murdering one another anyway, despite what the weather might do to us.

Don't build by water, unless you are a Hollywood star. Those bastards preach about C.C. but they live in massive houses by seas and rivers.

Quick question.

Are the modern civilizations weak?

Noah was about 950 years old when he died, even it was booze that killed. He built an Ark during the flood with his own 2 hands.

And rounded up 2 of every animal, the Tories couldn't even get HS2 right.

Civilisations never get it right. Look at the latest Mayan city discovery. Mother Nature has a way of reminding humans how trivial they are. Just look at those cars in Valencia.

No way did he get two of every animal in a single Ark. Impossible. Not even one of every animal. I doubt there were any animals at all. A massive liar was Noah.

I don't really see why we still can't battle climate change even though some aspects may be inevitable.

I live in a country (Oz) where the say the Ozone Layer has been depleted and as consequence skin cancer is a huge problem in Australia.

I no longer go out in the Sun without protection as I burn easily these days yet as kids on our holidays down under I am my brother used to worship the sun.

Now I find winters in Oz are far more severe and seem to last much longer with icy winds from the Antarctic which may be melting as well.

According to the Cosmic Calendar...Man has only been about since 5 minutrs to Midnight on New Years Eve. Dinosaurs started doing their thing on December 21st and were wiped out on Boxing Day.
