Marvellous slag off in the Sun... 16 Years, 5 Months ago
Complaining about the Christmas card and saying my face appears as the baby Jesus (only their interpretation) whilst failing to notice that The Sun Christmas card has all their columnists' faces dubbed onto all the characters in the nativity!!!

Well .. the Sun columnists probably think very highly of themselves.

Somebody has to.

More publicity for you, JK, which you can possibly cash in on one day - thanks to The Sun.

Just had a look in my work colleagues Sun and you made page 16 of 'The Whip'. I notice you are now referred to as 'former jailbird' now.

To be honest, they slag you off (unfairly) and them on the front page show off the size of David Beckham's penis. They are the most hypocritical paper I have ever known.

I found nothing offensive about your card at all and if people who read the Sun, decide to look at your card, the majority will come up with the same conclusion.

Not sure if they loathe you or love you JK, because if it was the former, then they would not be granting you any paper space.

Like you JK, I find the whole thing highly amusing.

On a more serious note, I can guess that they printed nothing about your appeal taking place next year.

Cheers for the card, it looks great.
There`s nothing to slag off about the card actually unless you are the sort of writer that only writes in that style.
Its an informative yearly Christmas card of the sort people send with themselves in it these days and a quick review of their own year, extremely well printed and laid out though, I must say and happily exempt from stock computer festive motifs.

After reading the thread I was just off to buy the Sun when the postman arrived, so once again the sales are down. Shame.
On their own Christmas card, does it mention what they`ve all been up to this year?
I`m sure they all have some tall tales to tell.

Hell hath no fury like a woman..sorry like a bunch of bleating women scorned.
That paper lost all credibility when you left, and now they're even reduced to having to call you 'former jailbird' instead of vile pervert.
They had the same reaction to the 'Birmingham 6'right up to the end, long after any sensible person realised there'd been a colossal mess up.
Well at least you're still making the news, and I bet they are damn annoyed about that.Especially after that tacky stunt they tried soon after your release.Probally afraid of a lawsuit on that one after the European court decision;)
Well i at least have it as an e-card,and it's now a wallpaper desktop...just right to relax after a hard day's work.

I don't mean this to sound disrespectful towards JK, but it isn't really a newsworthy item.

Also, for the person to have seen the card, she would have had to go on to JK website, I may be wrong but I'm assuming it to be the case.

Considering JK wrote for the Sun, I would have thought that some of the editors would know that this was his writing style.

JK sent them one... excuse me...

Thank you.

PS Does this make my card a collectors piece? I hope so.

Link to that nice tasteful Sun Christmas card.
Lorraine Kelly as The Virgin Mary?
David Blunkett as a Wise Man?
Now that's blasphemy.

Far from me to give ideas to anyone with Photoshop, but, one of the characters in the Suns Xmas picture does not have a superimposed face on.......

It always amazes me how so many get all hot and bothered about any lampooning of religion, and yet look how many heinous acts have been committed in the name of God.

I am an atheist...since the age of 12 when I was Head chorister with my local parish choir. One bright Sunday morning, in the middle of communion, I thought 'this really is a load of old rubbish!'

I hung up my cassock and never returned. The choir master harrassed me and my mum for weeks afterwards, begging me to come back. The family didn't understand, but I'd made my mind up.

True!!!
