The Pacific Palisades fires are dreadful especially considering it's Winter even in LA !

Now we are finding that 100s of the homes burnt down had had their insurance cancelled including the actor James Wood.

Why? Because of the fire risk. This is going to become a more common practice as Climate Change worsens.

After the alternate devastating floods and then fires in Australia the same has happened with owners finding it really difficult to get insurance or having to pay enormous premiums.

Once safe lands in Australia have now become flood plains even in sections of Sydney.

Probably OK here in sunny Bondi but I've noticed the winters now have become quite vicious at times with it easily as cold as a UK winter and with hideous freezing winds from the Antarctic.

If I wasn't so bloody old I'd sell up and move especially as you can't bloody well park anywhere. I look on envy at the private houses in Bondi (there are mainly 100s of apartment blocks) with their private driveways with so many having a Tesla parked there (such plain looking cars).
