One of my all time favourite TV series - Hetty Wainthropp Investigates... 17 Years, 4 Months ago
is being repeated (about bloody time too) on BBC2 in the afternoons this week.
Patricia Routledge is her usual wonderful self and young Dominic Monaghan (now famous thanks to Hobbits and Lost) was on my TalkRadio show (and I bumped into him and had a cup of tea later when shopping at my local M&S).

I've just watched the same episode - quite delightful.
Wonderful performances from the three pricipals, and Anne Reid as the mother of the schizophrenic.
As you say, beautifully scripted and directed - the sort of thing that the BBC used to do so well

I watched every show first time around ten years ago and loved them but I have to admit I can't remember any of them; I'm loving them again but they are all virgin fresh.
Is this a comment on my powers of retention or on the transitory effect of TV?
I have to add that I'm totally surprised by 90% of Entertainment USA when I watch it again, so even my own shows have passed me by!
