TOPIC: Prince Harry

Prince Harry 1 Week, 4 Days ago
For God's sake - of course he needs decent security and of course we the tax paying public should pay for it since we have a monarchy and he's a member of it.
It's a bit like the rest of society this century - those who don't like the monarchy are against us paying to protect him and his family. We've swallowed the STUPID PILL.

Must disagree. One of the wealthiest (most, perhaps) organisations here, should pay for their own security.

Billions worth of assets have been gifted/inherited by the royals - with a subsidied lifestyle. At the cost of taxpayers - yes, a debatable issue!

If a chap is excluded from a club - don't expect it to pay the bills. Talk to the club/family/monarchy about it.

Although a former reigning King (not that long ago/didn't have successful dialogues): He was a divorcee too - like C&C

Edward VIII - ostracised totally..

I agree but they took away Diana's security when they removed her HRH status.

He actually has the nerve to protest that he didn't 'ask' for his life!!! No one does. If he's such a media tart, maybe they should get him to have an on-camera natter with some homeless person, who 'didn't ask for it,' and compare notes. What a despicable idiot he is.

There was a time that I thought the UK needed more Roundheads, when you see what a shower of shit there is in Parliment we are in a Catch 22. Charlie boy does not have the UK in his heart, but the globalists.

I read that Charles would like to speak to Harry again but feels he can't because he doesn't trust his son not to leak the conversation to the media.

I don't know about despicable or idiot Rich, but he does seem to be rather vain, insecure and self-obsessed. And that must be ruining his life.

I can't understand any of this. Born into a Royal family in a minor position, unhappy with the job offered, falls in love with a beautiful woman, seeks a life outside but suffers from haters (and there are SOO many, for all of us). Comes across as a decent guy who deserves support and love from his family and friends. And protection from the many loonies who only hate him because of who he is.

I think what gets to a lot of people JK is his disloyalty (not by stepping down but by what he says in the media) to his family, and so by extension the Monarchy.

Yes many get worked up by simple jealousy of his wealth, which is silly. But others like myself genuinely find his public disloyalty troubling.

I agree.

Despite my misgivings on the cost of the Royal family when they are worth $Billions and the vast majority of European Royal families are self financed, Harry had no choice of his birth status.

Surely he's entitled to at least a bodyguard on UK visits given his family history and the tragedy of his mother's passing.

He is after all in line for the throne.

I don't see any public disloyalty; just inter family squabbles inflated and coloured up by media. Harry is a victim of mild media enmity almost entirely because his wife sued the media and won. Never wise.
