I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is delighted that this young man can now stay in the UK.

His is a remarkable story and it would have been a terrible mistake to deport him.

JK, the milk of human kindness seems to be in full flow at the Home Office!

I wonder how much the thought of the taxes (as a pro footballer) that he will pay infuenced the decision?

It seems that if you are terminally ill, you face a different decision?

sadly-although I'm pleased for this young fellow, you are right.

If he wasn't agreat footballer what would his chances be even if he faced death back from where he came ?.

And who is the worst offendor for lumping all asylum seekers in together and inferring that all are the same and should be judged by some who commit crimes-why The Sun off course-owned by a foreigner and US citizen who gave up his original citizenship on the other side of the world purely for financial reasons.

So it's OK for some and if you are rich there are no barriers. But it's highly doubtful that the US citizen has given much back to British public life apart from dumbing down what was once a great media.

I don't think Mudoch (no, that's not a misprint !) pays ANY taxes in the UK, and he's not the only one.

This greed mentality (started by Thatcher and continued by B-Liar) is disgraceful - they contribute nothing, but take alot and have a huge amount of influence.
