TOPIC: Court of Appeal decision on indeterminate sentences

Well well well; it needs judges, court cases, numerous miscarriages of justice and finally it is decided...

Jack Straw acted illegally jailing people until they had taken courses whilst not having courses available for them to do.

What happened to common sense in government?

Is it possible to have both a Labour government and common sense? I'm not sure it computes.
