and counting of this pointless Diana inquest. Yesterday we saw Al Fayed take to the stand and here is a man who is still clearly grieving for his son. However, he made absolutely outrageous comments about the Royal Family and their plot to kill Diana.

Being a father myself (I do have total sympathy for him in that respect), I would be devastated if I outlasted my daughter, however, these latest claims are not going to be taken seriously.

It is now time for the inquest to conclude and we all know that the verdict will be a terrible accident. Who is actually paying for this case as I am not sure if it is Al Fayed or is it the taxpayer?

I think it is the tax payer for the vast majority of it, however Al Fayad is paying for his expensive legal team.

It is indeed a waste of time.
If only they had been wearing seatbelts.......

With all conspiracy theories there has to be a grain of truth ... and the questions in this case WILL NOT GO AWAY !

None of the major questions has been answered satisfactorily so far - and new ones have emerged (such as why did 2 separate Commissioners of the Met hide the "Mishcon note" from the Coroner?)

The establishment themselves are mainly to blame for this fiasco - if they had come clean at the time alot of the queries would have been put to bed, but by delaying the inquest for over TEN YEARS (hoping perhaps that they would never have to have one?) / embalming the body (which is actually illegal under French law until the inquest has taken place) / taking her to the furthest (rather than the closest) hospital etc etc - they can hardly be surprised at the ongoing speculation.

IF we don;t have detailed enquiries like this one - then clearly things like this COULD happen.

One thing is for sure .... I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when the Dracula family were having dinner last night !!!

End the inquest and expel Al Fayed from this country. He's done nothing but abuse his stay in Britain.

I don't subscribe to any conspiracy theory. This is was driven by the grief of a father who is desperate for someone to blame, nothing more.

The grain of truth is that Dodi and Diana were killed in a car accident, most likely cuased by careless driving.

If only we could all dismiss facts (such as the fact that Henri Paul's blood sample had so much carbon dioxide in it he should have been dead !).

Burying your head in the sand only HELPS build the conspiracy theories.

When Al Fayed is "thrown out of Britain" should all the people he employs go with him - or just be sacked?

Al Fayed did go a bit over the top - but only asking questions that many others are asking (and remember that more than 50% of Britains BELIEVE that Diana WAS murdered). He's had to wait ten years to get some answers and is clearly still grieving.

That's a curious point. What is the "grain of truth" there has to be with David Ike's Lizard Overlords?

I think the "grain of truth" Zoo is that there are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamed of by ordinary men and women.

That we don't know all and everything doesn't mean all and everything is true.

It doesn't mean all and everything could be true either.

ETA erm... I think I may have missed joke
