Its great to hear the news that Shannon has been found alive and well, although I'm sure the ordeal that she went through will stay with her for many years. The man that carried out this act is dispicable to inflict such cruelty on an innocent child.
This website often highlights the falsely accused (and rightly so), but I think it's time to recognise the seriousness of this crime and how evil the people must be to commit such crimes.

I think the fact that the police have not yet organised a press conference shows that they too are a little baffled by events with this family (described as "disfunctional" by many media sources).

As one reporter admitted; nobody knows if she was with this man all 24 days or if she was there only for the last few hours. It's believed she went missing voluntarily. Friends say she had problems at home. Maybe she asked this guy to hide her. If this is the case, his main crime would be failing to report where she is. There's no evidence, as yet, that she suffered any harm while with him.
