The 'Spotted Dog' is - more or less - beside Waitrose on South Street, Dorking. Average boozer, with a good beer garden (looking up to Boxhill)- and a fine Sunday lunch. Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

Dorking is a nice old Market Town - full of history. L Olivier,V Williams,W Churchill,Hope familly et al - all had connections and the surrounding area of East Surrey (e.g. Coldharbour, Boxhill, Ockley etc.) must be one of the finest in the UK. Oldest pub is the 'Kings Head' in West Street - on which Mullins (one of the Pilgrim fathers) lived. Anyway, good luck JK

Know it well and love it - my Mum's house is just over the hill; my sister in law and nephews still live there... many a nice Thai meal there; shop in that funny little M&S underground; the Waitrose is excellent...
