It appears to have switched to a new type font today which looks like a free sheet or a local paper.

Very odd.

Newspaper advert revenue is down around 10% worldwide this year which is serious stuff-although internet adverts are up on their sites so that's where the battles will be fought.

Perhaps all the tabloids will end up being given away for free.

I really don't like the new look Mirror.

Today it's gone all violet, purple and pastel pink.

Ugh.

Internet advertising is set to overtake TV and print advertising in 2009.

I gave up buying newspapers last year, i just go to the websites of the tabloid, sure beats giving those hypocrites a penny of my money. Then if i need to catch anymore news i go to Sky News for they're excellent 24 hour coverage, much prefer it to the BBC.

I haven't read a newspaper for at least five years. Not even the freeby which comes through my door; it goes straight into the recycle bag.

Sky News is too much like a tabloid for my taste. Very sensationalist. I do watch some BBC news, but lean more towards the EuroNews or AlJazera channels on free satellite, or the Russia Today channel on the internet. For more local headlines I scan the TV Text services.

I have never read The Daily Mirror in my life.
