An 18 year old girl who accused a waiter of raping her in Venice is being forced to stay in Italy, according to the Mirror, because "she could face false allegation charges".

As a nation, we're getting good at this, aren't we?

We are being pelted from every angle that sex is dirty.

That includes mistakes made when you drunk or stoned-yell "rape"..young kids experimenting are told the slightly older one has assaulted the younger etc etc.

On and on it goes everyday until it seeps into the brain. I think they are still reasonably sane on the Continent about sex.

Although no idea about this girl..but perhaps she did what a million British gals have done before her...out on the town in a foreign land on her first holiday abroad and spots a handsome waiter ,a few drinks and Bob's your uncle. In my day it was passed off as experience ..now you must feel guilty and have someone pay a heavy price so you can be purged of your guilt !!

then again he may be guilty but the Italian cops probably know what they are doing.
