F***KIN HELL!! 16 Years ago
My reaction this morning as I opened the door to get my papers... there is deep snow outside.

In April.

We are going mad.

Yorkshire Gazette April 1847 reported 3ft of snow across York City on Good Friday.

My mother remembers snow in June.

Nothing new JK.

Really wierd.
I gave the lawn , what I felt was a very secure light spring mow yesterday, over the new grass.

JK - you probably don't live in East Surrey anymore, but roads here are awful. Just about impassible with the snow. I pity people going to Gatwick or Heathrow.

Glorious sunshine in my part of the UK today.

Lots of birdsong.

Yet another sunny day in Liverpool. Barely ever get any snow here. A couple of weeks ago whilst much of the country had snow, we got a 2 minute light snowfall and that was it.

I recall a cricket match being snowed off in Derbyshire in June 1976, before that long hot summer.
