Isn't this the same with any other website forum, only in this case the person (ie JK) responsible for this site actually responds and provides an interesting point of view. Just thought I'd be 'factually correct'.

That is the main reason why I regularly view the messageboards and since August contribute now and again. Some topics I don't feel I have the background knowledge to contribute, but I still enjoy the posts.

It's called freedom of choice.

Not as much time as you JK ! Does the truth hurt ? The contributions are weak,repetitive and often infantile - but what do I care, I won't be back. You'll be here for years.

Jumbeline,you yourself have now made 4 posts on this board.Not bad considering it does not meet up to your higher standards.
I will just say this,how many boards do you know where you can communicate with somebody who's had number 1 records?
How many boards can you communicate directly with a top record producer?
How many boards can you communicate with the former head of a multi national record company that hosted the likes of the Stones and Bowie?
How many boards let you speak to a mastermind of a sucessful British eurovision song contest winner?
How many boards can you communicate with a former top TV celebrity?

The list could go on.I judge people by their results,not their grumbling.
Of course you can never have perfection,but knowing the replies to my questions are answered so well by JK,and others of note like Mart puts this board well above any of the others I use.
Finally who else would allow criticism of this kind on their board? Try finding another board run by a famous name that would stomach allowing insults of this nature.
If you simply do not find this place appealing stop replying,and let the 10,000 of us who come here daily enjoy what you obviously cannot.

I work on a national paper as you'll know from my IP. I used to get The Tipsheet as a student in Uni and loved it. I find the board quirky, interesting, informative and unusual.

Many of my colleagues visit it too.

There is no point on this board, unless your computer is in the shape of a pyramid.

The least you could have done is supply us with some original thought to show us what we are missing, instead of describing this board as boring, which is about as unoriginal and infantile as you can get.
