Dear Jonathan, your name came up in conversation with friends this evening, and I logged on to have a look at what you are up to. I'm sorry to say that I never was much of a fan of your musical work, though I did admire your energy and I did enjoy your Entertainment USA show. I'm writing to say that I thought you were treated appallingly by the police and the press regarding things you may or may not have done many years ago. I suppose it is partly because the British have never respected young people and therefore refuse to differentiate between infants and adolescents. And because they don't respect adolescents they refuse to admit that they are capable of consent (yet they ludicrously also claim that a 10-year old is capable of standing trial in an adult court!). The time you served was inhumanly long. I hope you clear your name and get compensation. Good luck also with your work.
