Let's be honest, the ratings have been slumping; the awful O'Grady show has done far better in the slot; there's the dreadful phone ripoff scandal; Judy is getting less and less interested "I mean"; they kept on letting vile Clifford expose himself; now it's off to digital and hundreds of viewers instead of thousands... sad but it had to happen.

Who cares...?

I heard last year that they were quitting Channel 4, so it looks like they had this planned for a while. Sounds more like a move than a 'kicked off'.

Reading between the lines I suggest it was "inevitable".

I haven't watched them for a long while, but I know a few people who did. They have quite a few fans, but I thought they were better suited to the "This Morning" slot. I can't watch the show with Phil and Fern.

I wasn't aware that crap was still on. My mother never let me watch ITV or Channel4

The programme was pretty good when it first started on Channel 4. I found a lot of the guests very interesting and they weren't afraid to try different things.

But with the "You Say We Pay" scandal, and the programme becoming somewhat formulaic, I fear its day has passed.

The thing that I've noticed is how Judy has changed over the years. Compare her now to how she was in the early days of This Morning. Back then she seemed far more confident and bubbly. Now, she seems like a nervous wreck half the time.

I saw a clip of Richard presenting Granada Reports with the late, great Anthony Wilson in 1983 on the internet recently, and he hasn't changed a bit!

Marcus.....'hasn't changed a bit'......has Richard, you say. Just like JK !!

I thought Judy was retiring anyway and Richard was starting his own projects (did someone say 'Panto'?)
