Has it really been a year!

I've been fortunate enough to taste some of the low alcohol (<3%) French Ciders but have never seen a half-decent English equivalent. Any suggestions?

Well, Waitrose do a superb Low Alcohol cider - 1% I think - which I adore but Mart tried it and didn't like it at all.

Low alcohol cider simply doesn`t work for me, mainly because they don`t do a dry version, they are always too sweet.
Also, I fail to understand why an English L.A. cider is four times the price of a French intoxicating farm cider.
My low alcohol tip of the month is Sainsburys German LA lager,(0.05%) which is astonishingly bitter and very satisfying.
The Waitrose cider comes in at 1%, so technically one could get tipsy, although doubtful.

Instead of the apple cider, I recommend hunting down the low alcohol pear cider. I forget the name, but they do a full strength version and a 0.0% version and the flavour is pretty close.

I have remembered the brand name.
It`s Kopperberg, although Mrs Mart points out that it`s no good if you don`t like pears.
