I'm afraid so Steve - well, I recorded it in my home studio and persuaded my friend Paul Conroy who was then at Chrysalis to rush it out - the Sun gave us a huge spread on it but I don't think we ever actually put it into the marketplace as there was no great radio interest after the initial publicity.

One of my more opportunistic ideas - it was, of course, a cover of the wonderful Honeybus hit from the 60's.

Fantastic!

I ask because it was mentioned in a documentary I was watching - Rock Bottom I'm afraid JK from 1992 hosted by John Peel!

Funny that! Never having been a Sun reader, the first I heard about this track was in that John Peel hosted show!

Yes, I remember there was a special section devoted to JK which Peel in his intro said something like "many years ago, this man would had burned at the stake" and quipped "I wish he was still making records, I really do!"

That clip of Everyone's Gone to the Moon on TOTP in what 65 certainly piqued my interest but thats probably more so in my mind everything media related - at least on the visible side - in the 60s was just "right".
