This time the straw that broke the camel's back was The Guardian with a multi page spread from people telling me not to vote for Boris.

"Screw that" I thought.

All the media is the same.
Defy it at all costs.

Reminds of when Bin Laden made his video just before the last American Presidential election telling people not to vote for Bush. I'm sure he knew they'd do the opposite of what he said, just to spite him, even if they were originally going to vote for Kerry. He needed Bush's foreign policy to continue, because his own cause depended on it.

People often react this way. It's ok for a candidate to say "Vote for me and not for them." but it can be very annoying when someone else tries to dictate how you should vote.
