I'm rooting for Cardiff as David Jones went through a very similar ordeal to me with (it is rumoured) someone involved behind the scenes who was also involved in my false allegations.

So here's for the underdog.

My bigger football interest today was in the Rochdale v Darlington League Two play-off semi final 2nd leg. Rochdale won on penalties, although I was rooting for Darlington as they are fairly local to me.

I'm a neutral for the FA Cup final, so I just hope for a good quality entertaining game.

I have to go for any of Harry`s teams, so I am completely biased and Pompey rule on this one for me.

I have to disagree though, I think the quality of footy is rather poor.
This used to be the showcase of world football and it isn`t.
However, it was rather entertaining as the nipper went on his victory roll after failing to put the ball in the net, but that does some it up for me.

Is it me , or is is half empty at Wembley?

We were going to go to Lords today but I correctly anticipated the rain, so quite happy at home.

Well I was happy for Harry (and I bet Dave Jones was happy for the Chairman of Southampton).

And that very Southampton chairman, Mr Rupert Lowe is rejoining the board of directors of Southampton. I have nothing against Southampton, I just cannot stand
the man who effectively sacked for allegations that weren't proven.

I would rather Cardiff had won for David Jones, however, well done Harry.

On this topic, I concur that the FA Cup has recaptured it's former glory and the competition has been excellent.

I just hope that the Champions League final is a better match than the appalling FA Cup Final contested last year.

Chelsea-Man Utd, do not let us English football down and please play an open exciting game.

If I may quote the slightly amusing Mirror footy cartoon, from last week, "Who`d have thought he we are , the FA Cup Final and last week we were relegated!". Or similar.
