I think it was a wasp, not a bee. Not that it makes much difference. The episode was terrible, especially the attempts at humour with the charades game in the kitchen. A bit of a continuity error by making the Doctor seem like he'd never met Agatha Christie before. In an 8th Doctor adventure he claimed that she'd been his companion in the Tardis for a brief time.
