"Child porn" suspect killed 15 Years, 11 Months ago
Notice the "thousands" of images.

Police make these up, knowing they will be discarded in legal argument. Why? Because it makes a "great story".

For the media. To monster him. And encourage mad people to stab him to death.

Welcome to Alice In Wonderland - again.

And read this in LEGAL if you still believe everything you read...

A few years ago a care assistant at a residential school for disturbed children was arrested during a trawling operation. This means that there were no allegations made before the police becamse involved, just a level of suspicion raised due to the arrest of a former governer of the school on a seperate matter. The police interviewed all of the pupils, then arrested several members of staff. Concerning this one guy, police announced they had seized "photos of two of the girl pupils." It later emerged that he had one photograph of each in normal snap shot poses. These were part of a collection of casual photos of the school, pupils, staff and surrounding area, and they were not used as evidence, just as a kind of appetiser for the media.

I attended the trial with an open mind, believing that police would not take action for no reason. I was surprised that the prosecution brought forward no evidence other than allegations made by three girls whose stories conflicted with known facts. But the story had been running in the local media for over a year and, although the judge told them to disregard anything they'd read in the paper, it had to influence them in some way. The defence barrister spent very little time arguing his case. I think he just didn't like that kind of allegation and wanted to seperate himself from it as soon as possible. The man was convicted and denied the chance to appeal. God knows what his life has been like since.

I've heard this happens a lot.

Why do we treat human life so cheaply.

We had a neighbour who was charged with this offence and the same thing was announced.."thousands of photos" were on his computer was the story in the local media.

I felt pretty sorry for the chap because he was given hell at the time. His family sort of disowned him but his wife and kids stood by him but the kids were sent to stay with their grandparents. I decided I should at least offer moral support as we had always been on very friendly terms and I don't just abandon someone.

At the first court hearing which lasted a minute he was hounded by the local media but what was outrageous was all the other people outside the court ( half them up on charges themselves) screamed abuse and some even punched him in the shoulder as he rushed out. I was pretty shocked by this and complained to a policeman who stood by looking on who just shrugged his shoulders.

In the end-it turned out he only had SIX illegal photos of slightly underage boys-there were "thousands of photos" but they were all legal porn. He was quite lucky he got the judge he did who put him on bond for 2 years and agreed with his barrister that he could have mistakenly downloaded the illegal pics with the legal ones.

The cops didn't look happy-but he's still a registered "sex offendor" and had to sell up and move for the sake of his family.

In this case of murder-the town folk were talking about having a meeting about this guy who still was only an alleged offendor. What in the hell did they think they could do-run him out of town ?. This stuff is getting totally out of hand. Remember , often these blokes have children themselves who also suffer.
