I'm a bit pro Germany having spent the last week in Munich but they didn't play well (apart from Ballack's stunning kick) and I suspect Portugal will thrash them on Thursday.

On quality, it's clearly Portugal vs Holland for the final, with Croatia worthy wild cards.

I hope Germany beat Portugal, partly as I lived there for a year, and have happy memories of the country, but mainly because of my intense dislike of Ronaldo!

I expect you are right, and it will be victory for Portugal, but I doubt a thrashing. Germany don't suffer thrashings generally.
