Russell T Davies is a genuine genius 15 Years, 10 Months ago
Dr Who this week was absolutely stunning.
Some great acting particularly by Bernard Cribbins and Catherine Tate.
He really does craft real works of art; this show was up there with the best television ever.
Helped (for me) by a marked lack of David Tennant who I really do not like as an actor.
But the script was so intelligent and perceptive and thought provoking and entertaining.
It is actually astonishing to see something this classy being made.

I saw this episode as just a vehicle to re-intrduce Rose Tyler, using a mish mash of ideas from old episodes. It wasn't far removed from the clip show episodes used by many American TV companies to pad out a series.
Even the beatle on the back was nicked from an old Jon Pertwee episode 'Planet of the Spiders'.
I know you adore RTD, JK, but this was a long way off genius.
