Let's put it this way ... why do you think the US has spent billions of dollars on Iraq and not a penny on Zimbabwe ?
Or delve a little deeper. Most Iraq contracts are awarded to a firm called Halliburton - a firm once run by US Vice President Dick Cheney.
Now read this Congressional report - http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/09/2...ics/main575356.shtml

There's no mention in that report about Bush planning to attack Iran. I think your interpretation is a very broad one and that such an attack is highly unlikely.
Yeah ! And he also claimed to be going to use diplomatic efforts over Iraq (whilest actually planning the attacks !)
The report says - At a US defence department news conference, Adm Mullen refused to say what Israeli leaders told him during meetings last week about any plan to strike Iran.
But he warned that opening up a third front, after Iraq and Afghanistan, would be "extremely stressful, very challenging, with consequences that would be difficult to predict".
Asked if he was concerned Israel would strike before the end of the year, he said: "This is a very unstable part of the world and I don't need it to be more unstable."

I suggest that you also check out - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7465170.stm - conveniently titled " Israelis rehearse Iran attack" (no doubt all this was finalised during Bush's recent visit to the occupied lands).
