Yet the real experience is that it is now RAMPANT on every street of the UK from inner cities to country towns.

Drugs are widely available and weekends see pitched battles between drunken youths and law enforcement agencies filling hospital A&Es.

The POLICE have lost the streets - they have retreated to out of town industrial units and now only come out in "riot" style vehicles in large numbers.

PCSOs are a sop - and they are a stunt of the worst sort. They are the Law and Order equivalent of a farmer putting a scarecrow in a field.....and we all know what happens once the birds realise the scarecrow has no power.

For those of us who live and work in London and rely on visitors to the City we desperately need to see BORIS JOHNSON take action. But already New Labour have smeared his YOUTH deputy - possibly paralysing his plans before they have even got off the ground.

Sir Ian Blair should resign. He is damaged by the De Menezes incident and he has shown no leadership at all in fighting the massive rise in real crime ( as opposed to the reported paper crime which is probably running at 10 times less than real crime )

We are the laughing stock of Europe for the violence on our streets and the yob culture which has arisen with 24 hour drinking and the withdrawal of the Police.

In addition BROWN should resign rather than chasing imaginery terrorists with 42 day laws which go against the law.

We have a Government that invaded a Sovereign Country illegally - a Prime Minister who organised a COUP not an election to gain his post - and a Government which has ripped up the civil rights of its citizens dating back to 1215........

For how much longer can the UK media support such a criminal set of leaders of our Country. They all have blood on their hands.

Society is collapsing around us - and as individuals we must speak out and not pass the blame around. It is up to us to make ALOT OF NOISE about how unhappy we are about things - like the KINSELLA family and friends have done.

We need to restore the good name of Great Britain around the world. It is very damaged at the moment.

Yes I have to say I find it deeply offensive that nice kids like Kinsella and Jimmy and Millie Dowler get murdered on our streets and tabloids and media clearly don't give a damn and keep boosting the police who are busy locking up innocent people and getting easy convictions for historical allegations.

The last thing I would write about on my next visit to France, is a cliche about how people perceive the French people.

This "24 hour drinking problem" always makes me laugh as well.
Where exactly are these places that offer this service?(not that I want it),but it would be quite handy to buy some wine for Sunday lunch before 10 am when I buy the rest of the groceries?

The trouble is though in general is that that people do get antagonised by national and racial insults, and so it goes around and around and one can never get to the bottom of it.
