Surprised there has been no mention of David's campaign on here?

He's getting "across the board" support, not just the entire Tory front bench (expected) but some surprising names have been to Hull to support his campaign - Tony Benn / Bob Geldof to name just a couple.

Liberty director Shami Chakrabati, and (lovely) Labour rebel Bob Marshall Andrews will be there this Thursday - polling day.

The whole debate has been supressed by the media.

I know that people on here like JK are "entertainment" industry types so probably watching a video about the BIG BROTHER state for 3 hours is not your cup of tea but I believe YOU SHOULD ALL watch it.

David Icke is a Researcher - not a Prophet in the weird sense of the word. His research has led to him making predictions which have become true over the last 20 years. There are now MILLIONS around the world reading and sharing his stuff quietly......

His latest revelations about things are quite astounding - and yet unlike Conspriracy Theorists he does not seek to push the blame onto anyone - he basically says it is OUR responsibility to change the World around us. That is why his talks are so liberating for anyone who has seen them. He is PRO faith - all faiths - he is pro freedom and pro justice.

In that sense I believe he is "in the spirit" of this debating area where we are debating "views"

JK was the victim of the "Big Brother" state....of the state interfering into our lives and ICKE shows how the state does this and WHY it does this.

What JK has done however really hurts the BIG BROTHER state because he should have "run away" and "hidden" -but he has not given up - he has not hidden away and he has continued to smile and enjoy his life.

We all need to realise that we dont have to be "brow-beaten" by the current "FEAR AGENDA" from our BIG BROTHER world. We just need to show LOVE and JUSTICE to everyone around us.

For those of us who work in music - for many of us Music is one of the greatest gifts of life. It should be used to make us smile and to show our passions and emotions. That is why many people in Music are less "tainted" by the brainwashing of the media than most - hence this forum.

But we also need to start to "arm ourselves" with the "truth" about what is going on out there. Faith is the starting point - but watching and reading things like the ICKE video will show us THINGS THE TV WILL NOT SHOW US.

Everyone who is against the BIG BROTHER agenda is called a Nutter or a Terrorist or a Paedo or deluded. You may think that ICKE is deluded. He is not. He is a great bloke and totally straight and honest. His agenda ( if you can call it that ) Is to question and research and give a voice to the oppressed. In many ways he is just another person in the mould of Martin Luther King - Gandhi - and so on.

Watch the full THREE hours because the best bits come in the last hour - and they will shock you to the core. But it is a speech of hope - and the audience are on their feet cheering at the end.

I would love it if you could all watch it then discuss it on here....there is no point me writing about what it contains because it means nothing if you have not heard it first hand.

Heres a secret - I was at that talk on the video last Sunday. Very entertaining, and around 500 people there.
It was only 45 minute drive from where I live.

Does not suprise me that someone who is posting on here was at the talk at all.

I think that anyone who has access to the NET and has read in more detail about ICKE is impressed by his research. In fact any free thinker cant fail to be impressed.

He is a very brave man - and I believe the Mainstream Media in the UK should give him a programme on TV - not least because he is entertaining ( not suprising seeing as he was touted as the BBC's new Wogan/Bough etc in the 80s )

His views need to be heard and discussed - by doing so we can prevent the "agenda" he talks about happening - in doing so his predictions will fail to come true !! and that would be wonderful for all of us.

500 people prepared to sit for 3 hours and travel miles to listen to this - yet anyone on here ( like me ) can click on a Google Video and listen to it in sections He sold out BRIXTON with 4,000 people months in advance for a 9 hour day a month or so ago.......so he is attracting large crowds.

Did you meet him ? - he is a lovely man and nothing like the way in which the press portray him.

I'm half way through and have to admit he's talking a lot of sense.

I've always thought David Icke was unfairly ridiculed.

I think Jon Ronson had a go at knocking him too.

The second half is actually far better than the first ( once he has got warmed up !! )

His books are "research manuals" which are selling in massive quantities.

Like his talks they are long and packed with info. Therefore they need to be treated as such and dipped into in small sittings or by using the index I find helps to show.

Not sure whether Ronson maligned him - but Ronson himself is the ONLY journalist who has pointed out the BILDERBURG GROUP in print......and he wrote quite a favourable piece about you I seem to remember in a supplement ?? Had your photo on the front.....ages ago....??? or have I got the wrong journo ?

Would recommend THE BIGGEST SECRET by David Icke if you want to read one of his books - it was written a long time ago just after Diana was killed. The themes in the book are as relevent today as they were 10 years ago. He also explains his "reptilian" thing - in a way which explains it - the press have sensationalised it of course ! It is only a very small part of his research. Yet the press use it to hit him over the head every time.

I have a lot of time and respect for David Icke, especially when he is talking like he does in that presentation from Hull (and for most of Brixton, I was there too!). He threw away his career for his beliefs, which in this day and age is an amazing thing to do.

It's the reptilian side of his theories that I am not comfortable with. I do have most of his books and it tends to be that side that I thumb through quickly.

Yep, The Biggest Secret is dynamite to be honest and it's the best book he has written. The Diana stuff, particularly the whole thing with signs and symbolism is fascinating.
